so far, only the legacy style equivalent was tested. We have changed this
to current style. Legacy is no longer tested to keep CI runtime low.
The new test also has been made more reliable than the previous one.
this parameter was added, but it had no effect as it was not
passed down to the driver layer. This has been fixed. That also
now enables us to use dynamically-assigned port, which are
very useful for further testbench stabilization. Quite some
false positives occurred because the pre-selected port was
already in use again when rsyslog started.
Also now permit interactivly running tests without explicitly setting
$srcdir. This now works if we are inside ./tests and fails, as before,
when we are in a different directory.

Support tools (like tcpflood) are also upgraded to support the
necessary dynamic port.s
This is part of the effort to make parallel testing possible.
We move parts of the cleanup to the buildbot cleanup, as we cannot
clean out instances on each test when we run parallel tests.

includes some small bug fixes to tests where bugs were
previously not seen due to different plumbing.
